Like all skincare products, our lip care kits have a shelf-life and cannot be resold with integrity of quality once they leave our lab. Our expertly sourced ingredients draw from precious natural resources. If we cannot resell a returned product, we have to discard it and that conflicts with our strong stance on sustainability. We stand behind a strict return policy as a critical component of our responsibility to preserve natural resources. If products are damaged in transit, or if the incorrect item was shipped, we will send a replacement.

ARE ABATURE PRODUCTS VEGAN?
Yes! We proudly only use plant-based ingredients in all of our formulas.

SHOULD I USE LIP SCRUB EVERYDAY?
We recommend using the scrub 1-2 times per week.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO APPLY LIP BALM?
At night! Your lips have the best chance for healing and absorption of the actives and natural oils when you aren't eating/drinking/or licking your lips. Always apply lip butter at night and you'll be amazed at how pillowy soft your lips are in the morning.

DOES ABATURE TEST ON ANIMALS?
NO! 100% of our products and our raw ingredient suppliers are cruelty-free.

IS THERE REAL FRUIT IN THE LIP SCRUB?

Yep! We use real fruit and spearmint in our scrubs. The texture of the fruit, leaves, and seeds when ground to a specific size are a perfect gentle exfoliant for the delicate skin on our lips.

IS LIP BALM ADDICTIVE?
No. Even drugstore lip balm brands do not contain addictive ingredients. However, people often find they need to use lip balm more, the more they use it. Drugstore brands contain a high amount of wax and petroleum based chemicals that actually dry skin out by trapping water under their overly occlusive layers causing people to apply more often in a viscous cycle of poor skincare habits. Our lip care ingredients were chosen specifically to prevent this from happening and formulated with natural oils and butters that mimic our body's sebum to simply replenish natural moisture to the lips and prevent trans epidermal water loss with a plant derived natural occlusive layer rather than a synthetic one.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Standard delivery usually takes around 5-7 business days. Please note that with varying distance from our manufacturing facility in Colorado, orders may arrive later than usual.

Products are stocked on a regular basis and we often sell out of our fan favorite flavors.

7. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

In Short:  Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information.
